If you enjoyed hearing Zoe ball sitting in for Jonmathon Ross the last few saturdays you'll be pleased to know shes back on saturday january 3 sitting in for Dermot O'leary. If rumours that Andy Parefitt is to be the new radio 2 controller are true she could be in line for a major new slot on the station. After all it was Parfitt who gave her the radio one breakfast show in 1998
update-Andy Parfitt will NOT be taking over as radio 2 controlelr it was confirmed today.Drat!

I sincerely hope not!
ZB is not who we want on Radio 2. _________________ MiS |

Won't be good news for Mark Radcliffe then
By the way, Zoe's stood in for Dermot several times in the past. This ain't new. |

If you add '...at the buffet bar in the Manchester Hilton', you might be closer to the truth... unfortunately, in my opinion. |

I would be happy to place a bet that whoever is made the Fat Controller of Radio 2 anytime soon, that Mark Radcliffe has not got a hope in hell in securing a daytime show in the Radio 2 schedules anytime soon.
He cannot string a sentance together without tripping up-a truly terrible presenter imho. Keep him out of harms way/on the early hours shift when most folk are tucked up in bed. |

Oh well, at least he knows about music instead of just repeating pop trivia that he's heard which turns out to be not so accurate after all...... |

You've obviously never heard Pete err umm aaa Mitchell then
Mark is a fine presenter- you should realise from listening to him that he hums and arrs while his brain is whirring preparing to deliver his next interesting/original/amusing segue.
In the case of Mitchell et al, it's because they really have run out of anything relevant to say, being the dull, uninteresting souls that they are: mere pimples on the buttocks of broadcasting.
Oh and PS: I actually quite like Zoe Ball as a presenter (I'd rather listen to her than "Mad Old Bird" Kennedy) and she's quite easy on the eye too _________________ He's not the Messiah- he's a very naughty boy! |

What a choice Zoe Ball or Dermt O'Leary, my radio will be OFF
Funny how they seem to find standins even worse than the originals
that Sean bloke from 6music is normally bad when he stands in for DO'L. |

If Pete Mitchell and Mark Radcliffe were that bad they wouldn't be on a National Radio Station. I remember when Mark Goodier was on radio 2 and couldn't get his words out speaking to a listener on the phone and he said 'get your words out man.
Zoe Ball is very nice personality and great on the Radio you know your safe with her. |
