He was on the History of Light Entertainment last night and identifed as the producer of the Mike Yarwood show in the late 70's.
Is he the same guy that currently produces Terry Wogan's radio show? _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Interesting career move from producing the Yarwood show on TV to Wogan on the radio. Seems very similar to the move Jim Moir made from TV light entertainment to radio. I suspect Wogan would get on well with Boyd if he has that sort of background. Yet another reason why I think Wogan is going to stick around for a couple more years yet on 2. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Interesting stuff. I wonder how he ended up on radio though. What are the requirements to be a radio show producer anyway? _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

That picture is definately not 'Barralands' but is that the same Alan Boyd who produced the Mike Yarwood show? I'm very confused. |

Now I'm really confused.
No good asking a TOG. They dont even know their own movements, never mind others. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

I think we should assume that this is a different Alan Boyd. |
