I must admit constant use of the Telegraph could back fire on the BBC thinking they are biased.
I don't know which Political Party The Telegraph supports? |

I don't read it, but I assume The Telegraph is right-wing/Conservative.
As for the complaint... well, you can find bias to anything if you look hard enough. Curious how it always seems to be Sarah Kennedy who gets into trouble though... |

Like most newspapers, the Telegraph has news coverage (which tends to be pretty straight down the line) and editorial & commentary (which tends to support the Tories).
As far as I know, Sarah tends to read from the news stories. I haven't heard her read from the opinion & commentary sections in her review. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

I'm sorry, Not digging at Sarah.... ' If radio presenters are going to leech off the hard work of the printed media to fill a link then the least they can do is acknowledge all papers?
Blimey S*** must have hit the fan too if BBC were going to support the Tories.. Lets rally around now.

Fantastic news-I sincerely hope this is another nail in this woman's coffin.
She is a total waste of space/the worst presenter on radio.
The sooner she is exited the better. How she has kept her job is beyond me.

No she is one of life's characters. There aren't enough around any more. She is not perfectm, but she is fine in smallish doses. If they get rid of all the characters we will be left with the bland & boring. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Sorry mark, It's not about what Sarah has done wrong it's the structure of the show and the producer should have flagged this up. What I gather Sarah gets the paper review ready herself, and if you read the report it says most papers usually cover the same story, but the show seems to be using the Telegraph which make the BBC back the Tories. |

Thats a bit simplistic. She is reading out stories that interest her & she thinks will interest her listeners.
Would it be so terrible anyway to have one Tory supporter presenting on Radio 2 when you have Dermot O'Leary & Chris Evans hosting election meetings for Labour? _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

For heavens sake can't people leave the poor woman alone. I'm not her biggest fan but really some people go on about her like she is the spawn of satan.
Is nobody on the radio allowed to have an opinion anymore just in case it upsets someone, what a sad old world |

Well...I don't think we'd have to make too big an assumption to guess which box Wogan ticks in the poll booth...
Personally, I don't see what's wrong with 'personalities' on the radio offering their politics...it's a part of who they are.

This smacks of the late, lamented Brian Redhead being rebuked on air on the Today programme by a Tory interviewee (can't remember who) for purportedly supporting Labour. BR quite rightly demanded an apology.
I wouldn't presume to know whom Sir Terry votes for.

What a fuss about nothing. Haven't these people got anything better to worry about?
Sarah's newspaper review is invaluable, a great start to the day. OK, she's not perfect, who is? Perhaps we should get that **** Brand to do the Dawn Patrol _________________ MiS |

I like Sarah, don't listen that much as I'm still usually in the land of nod - but I don't have a problem with the show as such. Its a bit bland for me but then again the programmes I really enjoy on R2 I know aren't to everyone's cup of tea but that's what makes R2 such a broad church _________________ Chris Evans' Breakfast - doesn't sound quite as good as Chris Evans' Drivetime but good nonetheless! |
