I used to like it, but it sounds rediculous now
They just played it on R2 |

I'm completely aghast!
I think it's one of the best songs ever!! certainly one of those songs which warrant's turning up the volume high when it comes on..
Go wash your mouth out with soap Clive. _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

To be fair Clive it was in the 80's Classic section of the Dermot O'Leary show, not just played willy-nilly. _________________

Have to agree with other responses, a classic and will be forever.
Your message is a bit like saying Moonlight Serenade is silly now. I do share your frustration with R2 daytime, they might be classics but during the daytime I do not want to hear
I Wanna Hold Your Hand
Boys Are Back In Town
Waterloo
Tragedy
Careless Whispers
Hotel California
Jammin'
Bohemian Rhapsody
Anarchy in the UK
Satisfaction
SOS
Wonderwall
ItchyCoo Park
I Will Survive
Livin' On A Prayer
Hey Jude
Feel The Need In Me
I'll Be There
Purple Rain
I'm Walking On Sunshine .............
In fact I have no desire to hear any again. OK 'Boys Are Back In Town' would be alright to hear again, cos I have the Jailbreak album |

Do they really play 'Anarchy In The UK' that much in the daytime? I must admit to not listening in the afternoon because of Steve Wright & the ginger whinger. I certainly don't hear it in the morning that much. 'Living On A Prayer' not too bad as I have the Slippery When Wet album it comes from, though I wish they'd play some other tracks from it, like 'Let It Rock' with it's 'Faith' (by George Michael) style organ intro. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack.

Was it a request for a certain Mr. Max from his friends in the dungeon? |

LEE,
I didn't say that R2 plays it, or any of the list, I just don't want to hear any of them again |

Can I add Livin' Thing, Sir Duke and No Matter What to your list, John?
HMWYRS is so absurd, funky and the instrumental break so hot that it makes me smile every time I hear it. _________________ Ron |

I like Ian Dury,so I'm biased. There's a lot of good old stuff that I would prefer to hear that the new, played to death, that has no musical depth. _________________ Geddon

Yes, There Ain't Half Been Some Clever Bastards was the b-side of Hit Me With Your Rhythm Stick!
Unfortunately the A-side came to mind when I saw The Da Vinci Code at the pictures, when the albino guy was hitting himself. _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!
