|
|
Who else thinks Richard Allinson is better than His Royal Smugness?
It's great to hear Richard back on Radio 2. I hope Lesley Douglas axes Ken Bruce and reinstates Dicky Dawn on the mid morning slot.
Richard Allinson most certainly does ROCK! |

I wouldn't favour axeing Ken Bruce but agree that RA is making a good job of standing in for him.
Perhaps when Wogan retires......

Richard Allinson is indeed so much better than the smug Ken Bruce.
The shows so far this week have been excellent.
Keep up the good work Richard. |

I like Richard- he was great over the weekend - apart from Alex, the only spell of sunshine we had. |

Both messrs Allinson and Lester are a ray of sunshine. Ken Bruce is nothing but one big black rain cloud. |

Even as a fan of Kenny The Bruce I have enjoyed listening to Alice today. Most entertaining radio - a rarity on R2 these days I do think. _________________ ONline, ONdigital and ONtherocks: BBC Radio 2. Eleanor Rigby, wearing the face that she keeps in a jar by the door. |

The commercial for Rowntree Winegums. There's an indiot in a kilt dancing around like a demented windmill. He feeds winegums to a moose's head on the wall. It starts singing. He then feeds his bagpips a winegum - and they start dancing around.
The commercial reminds me of Ken Bruce for some unknown reason. |

...but for how long Mark O.
No-one is indespensible.
Indeed Lesley Douglas could be axed/promoted anytime and then the new replacement might have a different take on the world. |

Not even the darling Dickie Allinson is indespensible - thank gawd.
Tell me Mark - have you ever thought of running a fan club for your hero, perhaps even setting up a web site, etc? I'm serious - I can't think of anyone better qualified for the task; your support for the guy is unstinting and something which is almost an admirable thing to behold. |

Try Facebook. God it be like a Tony Blackburn fan club. Very cheesy idea these days. |

Well, I like Ken Bruce and he's not getting his P45 anytime soon, he's a spring chicken compared to Wogan so nowhere near retiring yet. |

Hi Andy,
It must have been someone else as I didn't email the show today, unless it was one from yesterday!

'Tis a strange thing - the Ken Bruce fans think than Alice Richardson is smug, and the Alice Richardson fans think that Ken Bruce is smug.

That's not true in my case, I like them both.
I think Ken is the best regular presenter on Radio 2, he makes me snigger frequently.
I think most people know how much I like Richard Allinson.....
