Tomorrow I shall wake up to Brian Matthew and on Sunday my wake-up call will come from Roger Royle. Same again next weekend. Perfect!

Take me back a few years and i would not switch the radio off on a Saturday except during the comedy hour. Richard Allinson (yes, him again!) for 3 hours on Saturday followed by Gambo, then the much missed Critical list, even dales pick of pops!!
These days, poor Gambo is the only time R2 goes on on a Saturday in this house!
Thank goodness I have a few Allinson Sat shows on CD to listen to!

I'll echo those sentiments about Roger Royle. I caught an unusually large part of the programme as we whizzed down a relatively quiet M42/M5 and thoroughly enjoyed him. Aled is all right, but for extra sparkle and oomph you can't beat a bit of Canon.
Missed most of SOTS this week. What is it with Wayne Fontana at the moment - I don't listen that much during the day but in the last few I've heard Game of Love, twice, Groovy Kind of Love and now Pamela Pamela. _________________ Ron |
