Just received an e-mail from SF's fan club telling me that he will be on Ken Bruce's programme on Friday and on Bob Harris' Saturday show. Also lined up for a future 'Tracks of my years' on Ken's programme. I first heard Steve Forbert on Gambo's radio shows back in the eighties.
'Romeo's tune' and 'Going down to Laurel' are my favourites by him. He is still touring regularly in the US.
Did anyone hear Dwight Yoakam on Nick Barraclough's new show on Thurdays at 11pm? I am a big fan of Dwight's music and have many of his albums, but when he talks about music he sounds too analytical and pseudo! Maybe Nick fawned over him too much? |

No but I heard most of Nick's show on Smooth last Sunday. 3 hours of great music. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |
