Does he sound a little different? or is it because I'm listening on a different radio.
Yes, very good. _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

Damn - forgot he'd shifted times (was listening to the FA Cup commentaries whilst assembling a rowing machine!).
Must try and make time to listen again. _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

Sounded to me like he had a cold.
Can't stand Dermot's show so am currently listening to Bob Harris's wednesday Drivetime show again. |

Is Dermot important than anyone else at the station now? So he can change his shifts to fit in with Simon Cowell.. |

He did say that when he has a voice like he does, it's not advisable to sing the Brianna Corrigan parts on the Beautiful South's A Little Time!
It sounds like he was on the karaoke during New Year's Eve. On the other hand, he interviewed Neil Innes on the Boxing Day Freak Zone special about the 40th anniversary of Magical Mystery Tour, and Innes said he'd been ill through Christmas and before, like the rest of us.
I assume he passed it on to Stuart, and I had this bug through it - which explains why I listened to this instead of going to the Boxing Day family do. _________________ We made a land where crap is king and the good don't last for long.

Dermot O'Leary is not important and I am surprised Lesley Douglas moved him to a temporary slot just so as his Radio 2 work didn't interfere with X Factor.
Thank goodness Saturday afternoons have been restored back to normality. Shame about the rubbish broadcast between 4.30 - 6.30pm, though.
Stuart Maconie, you have been missed at 2pm. |

Hi Scott-Welcome back-Happy New Year.
I am in a minority on here-I really like Dermot O'leary-I think his show on Saturday afternnons is vgood-I like to hear the new talent that is show cased on his show as well as the other music he plays.
I think he would be excellent in taking over from the smug Ken Bruce on weekday mornings. |

Happy New Year, Mark.
I know Dermot O'Leary does have some fans out there but I think his show is absolute cack. He sounds like a cheesy ILR night time jock. He makes Saturday teatimes on Radio 2 sound cheap and tacky.
Bring back Richard Allinson to Saturday teatimes. He made Saturday Radio 2 the best time of the week. |

I'm glad that I'm not watching the rubbish Big Brother has turned into. I'm surprised that DOL is doing it? The reviews are so bad that DOL is lucky he can hide once it's over and has X- Factor to help him... In one of the Papers today they had a columnist writing about what he wants to see in 2008, and one was to stop Dermot from Shouting...

Just get rid of him. He's one of the worst signings made by Lesley Douglas. |

Turned in to? it always was rubbish wasn't it?
I listened to a painful part of the DOL show yesterday whilst painting out a room.
I find he has a very annoying habit of going into little mumbling periods at a low volume which whilst driving a car is very frustrating! plus he constantly thumps the desk.
Yours,

You live an exciting life - watching paint dry AND listening to Dermot O'Leary at the same time

It's a matter of balance, the paint drying is just a tad too exciting _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

Grounded? I gather grounded kids probably tune into Dermot O'Leary, Russell Brand and Chris Evans! |

I hate it that... Voice coaching would be ideal for him.. |
