How I regret not recording today's programmes after Ken Bruce....
Ed Stewart - Lulu - Suzi Q and Bob Dylan.
I didn't hear it all the way through but what I did hear was just great, particularly Suzi and Bob.
Whilst listening to Bob Dylan, I realised that's what I actuallydo... I listen to him talking about the music! not waffling on about kids or games or people's emails! he talks about great music. ( to my taste of course )
I love these special shows, the mix of tracks is fantastic. Wish there could be be more of them.
So great to hear "Santa Claus Is Back in Town" by Elvis on Suzi's show. I loved this song at Christmas when I was a kid, a real Christmas rocker!.
"Got no sleigh with reindeer,
No sack on my back,
You're gonna see me comin'.... in a big black Cadillac!" _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

Hi Sante Fe
The radio has been really good this afternoon and this evening. Will record a few from Listen Again later.
I enjoyed Sunday afternoon's shows as well. Did you hear Gambo on Saturday night he played them all!

PS I had a request on Ed as well. _________________ 88 - 91 FM this is Radio 2 from the BBC!

Hi Helen. Just to wish you and my friends on here (and in exile) all the best from Rita and myself! I'll be with my family tomorrow for Christmas dinner as usual, so I'll raise a glass to absent friends! Cheers! |

I really enjoyed Bob Dyan's Theme Hour and Suzi Quatro, great radio, pity about some of the other shows, although the music played in Lulu's show was excellent, IMHO.
