I am getting increasingly annoyed that so many shows on Radio 2 are pre-recorded.
Why can't Brian Matthews come into the studios and deliver SOTS live on a Saturday morning.
As for Sunday Love Songs with Steve Wright again why can't he get of his ar5e and deliver this show live-better still just can it. |

Maybe Brian Matthew... doesn't want to do it live or maybe he doesn't feel up to it.
Personally speaking, it doesn't matter to me whether it's live or not.
I'd agree with Steve's Sunday show though, I can't see why he couldn't do it live. But given the chance, why would he want to "go in" on six days a week if he could get away with five.
I'd like to see Chris Evans' show recorded a year in advance and sent to the BBC on two CD discs in an unregistered envelope delivered by TNT... _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

Steve Wright doesn't do his Monday to Friday show "live", so you've got no chance of him doing the Sunday one live _________________ He's not the Messiah- he's a very naughty boy! |

Sunday Love Songs used to be broadcast live until Steve defected to weekday afternoons in 1999. Since then, it's been pre-recorded. The show is rubbish, anyway. |

SLS is sometimes live... SOTs could be live? How on earth does anyone know if they are live or not?
I thought Parkys show isn't fully live? It's recorded on Sunday Mornings before the 11 slot? |

I suspect that SOTS is recorded but don't have any problem with this. BM is getting on in years and had a long illness some time ago. If being able to record means the difference between his continuing and not, then let the recording continue, for I'm sure many will join me in wanting BM there--however managed--for a long time yet.
