For some reason Steve Lamacq is sitting in for Russell Brand this evening, and what a pleasure it is!
No more of Russell's loud and excitable witterings, just excellent music and a presenter who knows his stuff.
Wonderful - wouldn't it be great if Brand was permanently put on in the wee small hours and Steve Lamacq kept the late evening slot? |

Couldn't agree more! Well put. Let's banish the man in drag to the wee small hours - perfect for asomneracks or whatever Marko calls them! |

At least he didn't need to standup and talk to the mic, thinking it was the audience in front of him.. |

I was slightly wrong - because of the Remembrance programmes Steve's show is kind of overlapping with Brand's usual broadcast time and Bob Harris's, so he's kind of sitting in for both!
A perfect Saturday evening/night radio schedule would be Steve Lamacq followed by Bob Harris (or vice versa). |

Such a schedule would indeed be ideal for me. Bring it on, minus Brand of course! _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |
