|
|
Did anyone else pick up what I thought was an odd remark just after the last travel news bulletin this morning?
Ken said 'see you Monday for your last week'. Then 'they did tell you didn't they?'
Is Lynn leaving? Hope not as she and Ken make a great team.

I heard the quipp today, and I interpreted it (quite simply) as being Ken remarking that it was Lynn's last week before the Christmas break.

Hi Ella
I did think of that, but I still thought it was said in an odd way. I hope you're right as I like them both!

Me too. I honestly think that KB was "pushing it" a bit for the sake of winding us up. And Lynn, of course (as per the norm).

Helen,
I did hear that " So it's the last week next week" then a little giggle by Lynn, and the mic went down as she mumbled something.
Very quite if things are happening in the new year? |

Yes, me too. I think he's most amusing to listen to - especially his banter with the very fine Lynn Bowles. Excellent prime time radio.

She did reminisce about when she hosting a show on the network today. I wouldn't read too much into it, but maybe she's either leaving or moving to weekends? |

She is apparently joining another show in February, she's not leaving radio 2 though. I don't know if this is true or not but I think it probably is. |

Oh god! No! Nat on the radio! That really would be the ruination of radio 2.
Couldn't I just be Kenny's little play thing? _________________ Eternal nothingness is fine if you happen to be dressed for it. |

I enjoy Ken and Lynn's banter so I hope she's not moving on. It was never as good when Lynn and Sally swapped a few months back.

She has been assigned to another presenter from next February but that dosen't necessarily mean she won't be on Ken's show anymore. |

So whats she doing in January?
Who else could need their dome polished like Ken does? Steve Wright needs something licked daily but its not a job I'd volunteer even my worse enemy to do. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

It would be nice to put a female presenter into the other part of the day schedule? The first woman on National Radio ' Jackki Brambles used to be good on R1 at lunchtimes all those years ago. Maybe a female presenter during the day on a Saturday?
