I didn't agree with him complaining 'Will it never end?' over ELO's Mr. Blue Sky (how long has Out Of The Blue been out? 30 years?).
And then he followed it with a gushing tribute to Don Arden, ELO's ex-manager who behaved abominably towards Roy Wood (so a Classic Rock article said). I'm surprised the next song up wasn't 'Mr. Hanky The Christmas Poo' from South Park, given that Sharon Osbourne confessed on Shrink Rap that she'd dumped on a statue Arden bought for his girlfriend (not Sharon's mum who Arden split from)! _________________ We made a land where crap is king and the good don't last for long.

Didn't hear it, but the Independant's obituary of Arden throws more light on his less than friendly character http://news.independent.co.uk/people/obituaries/article2798483.ece
Mr Blue Sky must get played more often than some Playlist tracks. There is one (a blue sky, that is) here this morning, but as my garage is surrounded by a moat following yesterday's deluge, it's not even funny. _________________ Ron |

Any chance of Baker next time?
That Irish girl phone wind-up thing was all very well, but she was quite clearly being fed the lines. 'Ball-park figure' etc. so a bit of a con really. _________________ Who Can Take A Sunrise, Sprinkle It With Dew... |

I've quite enjoyed listening to JW in the mornings, he has been on form again and having a good time. Although I like ol' terry I tend to prefer johnnie's approach.
If Baker was on at that time of the morning I would have to change channels on the alarm clock radio. Talented and knowledgeable bloke though he is I could not handle him that time of day. |

He is quite mellow now. Try it now, live, and let me know!

He played Tiny Tim yesterday. 'My Community' Great record. Anyone familiar? That'd win Eurovision hands down! _________________ Who Can Take A Sunrise, Sprinkle It With Dew... |
