Don't miss R2 20.00 tonight. A full hour rock-doc about the Travelling Wilburys. Timed to finish just before 7 ages of Rock on BBC2, which is timed to give enough time to get a cuppa and a butty (or whatever) before Ziggy and the Spiders (and the immortal Ronson) on BBC4.
Better than all that reality bilge on the other channels.... _________________ Standing on Ray Moore's shoulders |

Wilbury show was great - still got the original vinyl and looking forward to the box set coming out. Liked the 'behind the scenes'. Didn't George Harrison sound really enthused, what a miss he is. _________________ Some say he once threw a microwave oven at a tramp and that all his potted plants are called 'Steve'.....all we know is, he's called 'The Stig!'. |

Johnnie Walker had both Olivia Harrison and Barbara Orbison on this afternoon talking about the forthcoming release of the Wilburys' DVD/CD collection. Rather interesting.... and I must listen to the documentary, thanks for reminding me, Childprufe! _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

I didn't hear all the Wilburys programme thanks to bad reception in my area, but I did see Bowie on the 'Seven Ages Of Rock' programme.
Olivia Harrison and Barbara Orbison I did hear on Johnnie Walker.
And did anyone notice that Adrian Belew (worked with Bowie on 'Scary Monsters...') covered 'Not Alone Anymore' on the Young Lions CD? _________________ We made a land where crap is king and the good don't last for long.
