This guy was trumpeted as Dame Lesley's major signing to Radio 2 a year ago. Today he is only heard between 3-6am on Saturday morning & 2-4am on Sunday mornings. What does he do for the rest of the week?
We all remember the week he covered for Steve Wright (it was 2nd only to the legendary week that Kate Thornton covered for Sarah Kennedy )

A P45?
Seriousky, I don't think he has what it takes to be a successful daytime presenter on R2. I never rated him on Virgin either. _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

He wasn't that cracking sitting in for Phill Jupitus on 6 Music either! He didn't know what songs Jimmy Webb had written when the writer of 'Wichita Lineman', 'Galveston' and so on was listed on the star birthdays.
He was a good enough reason to listen to Alice Cooper's breakfast show on Planet Rock. _________________ We made a land where crap is king and the good don't last for long.
