Interested to hear Elaine Paige interview Connie Fisher. It seems to be a new feature, where the interviewee gets to choose 3 of their favourite tracks. However the intro and outro of the segment wer very poorly edited. On the outro they even had Deadly do a voiceover to add some bits of info which had been missed at the original recording.
Who is editing this stuff? Steve Wright??? _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

I noticed that there seemed to be a gap between some questions and answers as if they were edited (badly) together, I'll have to listen again. |

It was kind of obvious that the interview was recorded at a different time to when the main show was recorded, but I would have thought that the main show is recorded quite close to transmission as they do a regular competition.
However if the questions and answers were recorded seperately that would add a new dimension to things. Are things really that fraught in the world of musical theatre that Paige & Fisher cant be in the same stdio at the same time? _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Besides, hasn't Connie (mime artist) Fisher been on a sicky for a few weeks now? _________________ He's not the Messiah- he's a very naughty boy! |

She's back again now. Apparently there was a bit of contoversy about the show playing a tape of her singing some of the high notes because her voice wasnt up to it when she first came back. _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

Most of what me and Mrs PJ heard when we went was a recording.
She sang live twice during the performance... and blew out both times
Lesley Garrett gave her a master-class in singing that night- WOW what a voice! _________________ He's not the Messiah- he's a very naughty boy! |

She's been using an earpiece click-track feed (as we call it in rabbit-land) at the insistence of Andrew Lloyd Webber, who has been concerned that 8 performances a week are taking their toll on her voice.
