Great to hear him again, though the interview did him no favours.
The old songs were great..... impossible to sing along to as usual....(more talking than singing). My favourite used to be Famous Blue Raincoat, (think it was off Bird on the Wire). Loved the line that went:
"you treated
my woman
to a slice
of your life.
and when she came back
she was nobodys wife."
They dont write them like that any more. |

I think SW's a bit late with the April Fool's joke, don't you think?
Either that or......... how did he manage to get Leonard Cohen back from the dead?

I've heard Leonard Cohen described as morbid before, but I think he stopped short of shuffling off the old mortal coil. |

Sorry Minx, it's "You treated my woman to a flake of your life" (possibly a reference to dandruff).
Didn't listen as I can't stand CE. Love Lennie, did he tell the story of impersonating Kris Kristofferson? What a sense of humour he has! |

I can't stand the ce show with all the shouting and awful music played to 'enhance' naff features (the cowboy music at the start's bad enough but rather apt). I love the big show with the talented Mr Wright though and could've sworn the interview was on that! |
