Discuss. Similar sort of 'Hello ladies' smoochie smoochie presentation.
The big advantage, for Lesley, is that he's a TV name, but in fairness began his career on BBC Local Radio. There's hope he'll be any good. Christ knows they're chucking some money at him. TEN GRAND A SHOW according to one London paper last night!
Jesus! No wonder they can't afford to update their rotten ten year old news jingle! _________________ Who Can Take A Sunrise, Sprinkle It With Dew... |

tell you what though, I'm looking forward to the show. However, I'll be in Edinburgh so I'll have to listen again. _________________ Some say he once threw a microwave oven at a tramp and that all his potted plants are called 'Steve'.....all we know is, he's called 'The Stig!'. |

I like Richard Hammond, he is a good presenter on TV and see no reason why he should not be good on radio.
I couldn't care less what he's paid, some people in this country are obsessed by what people earn, good luck to him. |

You pay the licence fee as well! Are you happy that some of it should go towards a ten grand fee for two hours work when it might be better employed in other parts of the corporation? Like paying for someone to stand-in for Stuart Maconie so he doesn't have to read fake e-mails out saying what people are currently doing on a pre-recorded show. _________________ Who Can Take A Sunrise, Sprinkle It With Dew... |

Nah, I don't care, there are far worse things in the world than how much somebody gets paid. |
