I heard the first and final 15 minutes (on the way to and from the shops) and quite enjoyed it. Yes it was weird, but a lot of fun - even though he was being massively self-indulgent.
A great exploitation and exploration of the medium, and some interesting stories. His film pitches were rubbish though! Can't think why they never got made... |

His driving test exploits were very strange, with the studio VP giving him driving lessons. Heck, the whole show was weird. With his rasping voice I thought I had tune into Bob Dylan's Theme Hour.
