The Sunday Express radio review alerted me to this. I am amazed that she was a mother at 14 AND 15 before she signed to Columbia!
Dusty Springfield must have got all those early Columbia releases on import(besides the Blues & Soul correspondent they interviewed)as they weren't readily available in the UK - I recognised 'It Won't Be Long' as the first song on 'Ev'rything's Coming Up Dusty'!
I also remember 'Save Me' (?) from a TV commercial. I don't remember the product, just that the guitar chords reminded me of Them's 'Gloria'. _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!
