Text is a bit small, unfortunately. The offshore radio pics look like they've been nicked from an excellent (but now out of print) book called "Offshore Radio" by Vernon somebody-or-other (it's on a shelf upstairs). The best book on the subject!
Nice to see a pic of Keith Fordyce. I remember him not only for presenting RSG in the mid-60s but also for presenting the weekly quiz show on Westward TV in the south-west called "Treasure Hunt". I have his autograph somewhere as my mum was in the audience on more than one occasion.
It's good to see some of our best-loved, experienced and most talented broadcasters being profiled.

Hi Ella,
Don't you have zoom or text-size tools on your IE7 ??
The profiles are 'museum' pieces though, circa 1967.
It does say the content is from 'Who's Who In Pop' by Peter Alex

I don't use IE, apart from checking page-formatting once new web pages have been upoaded. Mostly, I use Safari (on Mac) and Firefox (on both Mac and PC). I tend not to enlarge text on pages because it invariably throws the page layout and definition. Text often shows slightly smaller on Macs due to the higher output resolution - at least when the page authors haven't used CSS properly.

I love the old pics, especially that of a young-looking Brian Mathew!

There was a photographer who worked for one of the East Anglian dailies in the 60s whose name is Martin Stevens and who appears to taking all the images worth looking at from the pirate era, it would seem. Lots of his pics are on those pages!

PS: I'm sounding like an anorak, aren't I??
