The sets in this were okay, but the songs were of that Stephen Sondheim semi-talking style that screams 'WORTHY PROJECT' at this writer even though there were lots of children in.
Musically it wasn't a patch on the Anthony Newley/Leslie Bricusse movie songs. I've had ' I like life, life likes me' in my head since, and I've often wondered if Albert Finney as Scrooge was the inspiration for Harry Enfield in the Old Gits sketches! _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!
