Lame TV crossover gig? How?
Lee Mack has done 2 series and several specials for Radio 2, one of which won a Sony award and was broadcast a year before he was a regular on TV. In fact, like so many others lately, he probably got the TV gigs from his Radio 2 successes.
And, as I say, he stood in for Mark Radcliffe over Christmas and was great. A much more engaging presenter than 'radio people' like Pete Mitchell or Mark Goodier (for instance). |
