Very expensive what was it smoked Salmon in the fridge. Was this the food bill whilst he was living in London or also at home. Did they not pay him enough to use his own cash for the weekly shop? God I bet some of them are not happy. At the end of the day it is the Tax Payers money really. In the real world people use their own wages to pay bills.

You'll always get big variations in how people claim imprecise expenses.
I've known people who hardly claim a thing and others who go to town.
In my early days in the NHS in the late 60s, when removal expenses weren't monitored as well as they might have been, a colleague claimed a full £50 grant for removals which he actually had done by a mate with a van for ten bob (50p)!

I like the report in the paper today MP's are going to get their own back on thr BBC by demanding details of John Humphrys expenses, the going on to Paxo etc. After all, their all paid out of the public purse. _________________ I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. |
