I do think it's about time for especially the Summer Break to be shortened? I know that one of our local Grammar School breaks up for 2 Months in the Summer. The teachers will moan that they need a break, but then the kids need their education. Times have moved on when school leavers were able to jump from school into YTS schemes or Jobs.
What are your thoughts?

The option of shorter school holidays has been bandied about for years but not many authorities seem to want to pursue it.
Don't forget that the effects of restructuring the year would be felt far beyond the world of education. People who now avoid taking holiday when the sxhools are out would also have to revisit their arrangments.

Clearly I didn't the teacher has corrected it
Most schools in America break up for 3 Months, but there again they go to school on Saturdays?
I heard that they also were also purposing to start at 8-30am and finish slightly early at 2.30 instead of 3-3.30? |
