On BBC Radio 6 Radio
Episode 1: Fear and Loathing
Alan Freeman kicks off his epic series exploring at the development of popular music.
First broadcast in 1994.
Couple of my friends decided to go off on a jaunt (about 6 months) round Indonesia, saved up and off they went (they've done it before going to other places.) They went at the beginning of February and now find themselves in lock down on Bali. They've been there for about a month now. They can't, for various reasons, get home.
One of the pair asked me if I was listening to this?
I've listened to the first couple of episodes this morning and it's brilliant!
She said they are on to episode 26 and it's still in the sixties!
