Interesting that apparently he turned down his chance to sing with The Temptations many years ago and of course his brother David filled that particular slot for quite a few years
Sad to see him gone - he had a great voice _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Very sad to hear of his death, I saw him in cabaret in the early 70s, a fact that I posted only at the weekend in a reference to a SOTS track. What Becomes Of The Broken Hearted will always be one of my all time favourite tracks.
RIP

I thought of our recent posts about Jimmy when I saw of his death,Helen.
Sad news...he had a wonderful voice and sang some wonderful songs.
It says in the article that graham posted...
"Ruffin's other credits include Jimmy Ruffin's Sweet Soul Music, a seven-part series he made for BBC Radio 2 in the 1990s."
Would be good to hear a repeat run of that!
