I agreed with Charlie Brooker about the naffness of celebrity-led documentaries (e.g. Joanna Lumley - Catwoman, Stephen Tompkinson's Great Ballooon Adventure).
I also feel he shares with Stuart Maconie (on The Freak Zone) an acute memory for BBC and ITV schools' programmes, and of music used on children's programmes of the time - I noticed the theme tunes for Mary, Mungo & Midge and Screen Test on this episode.
Kevin Eldon's involvement in mock-ups of programmes on this must make him one of the genuinely hardest working men in showbusiness now! _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!
