These were Radio 4 repeats slung into the graveyard slot - I especially wanted to hear the Tori Amos episode to see how poetry inspired her.
I loved hearing her read out Edgar Allen Poe's 'The Raven' (also featured in the Simpsons' 'Treehouse Of Horror' as read by Kelsey Grammer)! She also talked about how her mum would play secular music in the house to get away from her dad's church ministerial doings.
Billy Bragg's episode was very good too, particularly the bit about 'Jerusalem'. _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!
