This is another sound-clip challenge.
I expect the SOTS fans will find it too easy as all the clips were No 1s. but I'm looking to see if this becomes the most viewed quiz

OK I think we've had all our entries in for the 60s quiz.
So, ignoring that some did not include Gary Puckett with Union Gap, or thought it was Bobby Pickett.....
100% points for santafe, Rockitron, Mikeraphone, jennyw, dottiemay
95% for iknewdavidjacobsmum
90% for scorpio and Natasha
75% for toggy teaslurper
Less entries, less views but much better results
It'll be Classical up next!
Oh yes, the answers:
title 1. The Young Ones
band 1. Cliff Richard
title 2. From Me To You
band 2. Beatles
title 3. You're My World
band 3. Cilla Black
title 4. Mr Tambourine Man
band 4. The Byrds
title 5. With A Girl Like You
band 5. The Troggs
title 6. Distant Drums
band 6. Jim Reeves
title 7. (Reach Out) I'll Be There
band 7. The Four Tops
title 8. San Francisco
band 8. Scott Mackenzie
title 9. Young Girl
band 9. Gary Puckett & the Union Gap
title 10. I've Gotta Get A Message To You
band 10. The Bee Gees

Thanks John,
Enjoyed doing that. I do hope my youth will be proved as I knew it was Jim Reeves, but not the song title (probably sent to bed before such a gloomy song was broadcast).
Santafefan, note I shall be posting my ID, ever seen the young Bonnie Langford? |

I was born too late - but I'm making up for it by nicking my dad's vinyl collection a record at a time _________________ Eternal nothingness is fine if you happen to be dressed for it. |

Oooo...100%! Well, that's a first
Sad thing is, I probably know the all words to every one of those songs - the soundtrack to my yoof. _________________ "I'm a firm believer in not having to play the hand you're dealt." |

Well I didn't expect 100% but thank you!
I was a teenager in the 60s and married the singer in a 'pop group' in 1969. Dad told me I wasted my life on music _________________ I like cats and music |
