Duh ... I never twigged that Jay Rayner was her son!!! Blimey you've only got to look at him ... but I honestly never made the connection before.
Very gutsy woman. Didn't always agree with absolutely everything she said, but nevertheless she certainly packed plenty into her 79 years, not least a marriage that lasted 53 years.

Always seemed like a good old bord.
I've heard this from a couple of sources this morning that her last words were
"Tell David Cameron that if he screws up my beloved NHS I'll come back and bloody haunt him." _________________ You will hear gospel and rhythm and blues and jazz, all those are just labels, we know that music is music. |
