Am in the local panto this week--Babes in the Wood. Am in the chorus, doing a bit of dancing and have taken a small speaking part. Mrs W is doing much the same and we do the box office too.

Have done all but one of these over eight years. Seems to be anticipated eagerly by the locals.

That's right. We always go for October half-term week so that we can have the run of the local High School hall and don't clash with the dozen and one other things on around Christmas. It seems to work.

Happy to report that the pantomime was an enormous success.

The local paper were sent two complimentary tickets and I gather that at the interval the reporter told someone that it was the best pantomime that he'd ever seen.

If he suits action to the word, I look forward to his review.

He's a journalist. His story will have changed once he's sobered up. Was it Lunchtime O'Booze, by any chance?
