Thank you for sharing that lovely set of contrasting photos, minx.

It looked a bit warm there.

Cute seals and Mr Penguin.

Ingenious shelters for the penguins.

Fantastic pics Minx... my brother ( who I don't speak to anymore! Laughing ) went back and forth to Capetown on many occasions and was always pushing for me to go and see it for myself.

He said the Shopping Malls and restaurants there were every bit as good as the USA and one of your pics certainly bears that out..

Hopefully you won't mind as I've saved some of them to my pc.. I particularly love the Penguin and the Moon shots! I've printed and framed the Moon one to hang with my Sci-Fi pics.. and, as I mentioned in conversation the other day, to stand amongst hundreds of Penguins is one of my "life's ambitions"

The beach there looks as if it could be crushed shell instead of sand like Miami Beach.

I don't suppose I'll ever venture that way but thanks for the glimpse!

Thanks guys. Yes it was lovely and warm, more so than I remembered from other visits we had made at the same time of year.

If you want to stand amongst the penguins SFF you'd better take a peg. Boy do they pong! The seals too. Crying or Very sad

I can imagine.. Laughing
I remember when I was 12, I went to London Zoo and really wanted to hop over the small fence to the Penguin enclosure. It's possibly not the case, but they look so cute.. like little old men in Dinner Jackets as they say.
I'll have an attempt to upload a pic or two when I return from our hols... Confused

Thanks Becky. Seals are such lovely creatures, I don't know how people can bear to cull them.
