It's difficult to say who was squirming the most - Terry Wogan or the TV viewers.

The BBC veteran presented Sunday's Points of View in a pair of moleskin trousers which clung relentlessly to a certain area and left little to the imagination.

The corporation has received a flurry of complaints about 69-year-old Sir Terry's wardrobe malfunction.

I don't watch points of view so I didn't see it. I must say though anyone who complained about that is utterly pathetic, have they nothing better to do. Rolling Eyes

Will the program be re-named 'Terry's point' Laughing

I tend to think of this as doing a Nureyev.

Ernie Wise told of an occasion when he and Eric Morecambe were on TV at the Palladium a week after the famous ballet dancer had appeared, in tights which, as EW put it, revealed that he was a well-made lad.

This was referred to by EW who went on to say to EM:

EW: Did you see it last week?

EM: I should think everybody saw it last week.

I think EM was in a bit of trouble for that!

Ian.

Will Wogan have Rush's Leave That Thing Alone on his show next week?

A screen grab of Wogan and his errant thingy was used on last night's Have I Got News For you, and I think it was Paul Merton who said there'd be children asking 'why has that man got a wig on?'
